This website is operated by Pacific West Mechanical Ltd. (“Pacific West Mechanical”, “we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and other applicable privacy laws.

Information you give us. When you email or call us we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, contact details, the address of the building concerned and a description of the work you need.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to operate and secure the site. We do not run advertising trackers.

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to schedule and carry out the service and maintenance work you ask us to do, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function. If we add analytics in future, this policy will describe what is collected and how to opt out, and visitors in regions that require express consent will be asked before anything runs.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the site and our communications — our website host and our email provider — under agreements that limit their use of it. Some providers process data outside British Columbia, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, where they lead to work, for the retention period our legal and contractual obligations require. Server logs are kept for no longer than 90 days.

You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete it subject to our legal obligations. Email info@pacificwestmechanical.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
